Inventory Maintenance
The header window of the inventory record detailing part number, description
etc remains constant regardless of the tab selected.
The different tabs display the following information:
- Main - specific part details including default selling price,
tax rates, classification and category details
- SOH - displays the line history of stock on hand for individual and
combined warehouses as well as warehouse individual totals and
available stock after allocating to back orders and shipping. This tab also manages the setup for automatic ordering and bin location management
- Prices - details the pricing details and pricing schemes for inventory items and also pricing breaks and supplier/group specific prices
- Supply - details supplier information by inventory item including the default supplierand supplier warehouse details
- Alternate - links part numbers to provide alternate items when a part
is marked as obsolete or discontinued. Also also contains component details for Kit
inventory items
- Order - all order details related to each inventory item - purchase order, sales order etc. as well as back order information
- Other - product groups, ledger accounts, associated external documents, notes, to-dos, the option for web browser details and POS
- Figures - minimum stock on hand and budgetary details for individual warehouses and displays current and last year sales figures
for either 'all' or an 'individual' warehouse
- Add / Edit Style - facilitates the entry and maintenance of Style, Size, Colour items e.g. T Shirts of a particular style with relevant colours and sizes - Cotton T Shirt, Black, Medium
- Style SOH - displays the stock on hand values for that particular style -all colours and sizes
- Custom Fields - displays and allows setup of custom fields required for the site for their inventory
